During the main period, the USE will involve more than 169 thousand organizers, heads of the PPE and members of state examination commissions, more than 11 thousand technical specialists, more than 4 thousand medical workers. The monitoring of the USE will be carried out by over 7 thousand federal public observers and over 2 thousand online observers.

Almost 100% of the audiences will be covered by online video surveillance. All PPEs will use the technology of printing examination materials in classrooms, in 8 regions — the technology of transferring examination materials to the PPE via the Internet.

In 2019, the popularity of natural science subjects among graduates has grown. So, in 2019, the increase in the number of USE participants in biology amounted to 25 thousand compared to last year, in chemistry — about 16 thousand, in physics — about 13 thousand participants.

For the first time this year, Chinese has been included in the list of subjects for passing the exam. 289 people from 43 constituent entities of the Russian Federation applied for participation in the Unified State Exam in the Chinese language in 2019.

In the Moscow region, the main state exam will be taken by over 74 thousand ninth grade graduates, according to the press service of the first deputy chairman of the Moscow Region Government — Minister of Education of the Moscow Region Olga Zabralova.

She clarified that the state final certification for ninth grade students will start in the Moscow region on May 24. Examination events will last until July 2.

“Tomorrow over 10 thousand ninth grade graduates will pass the first exam — a foreign language. The most popular elective subjects this year turned out to be geography — almost 23.5 thousand children will write the exam, as well as computer science and ICT — the subject was chosen by 19.5 thousand schoolchildren. GIA-9 is conducted in the form of the Basic State Examination (OGE) and the State Final Exam (GVE). GVE is a form of final certification in the form of written and oral exams using texts, topics, assignments and tickets. The OGE is carried out for graduates of 9th grade using control measuring materials of a standardized form.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova said that the number of people taking the Unified State Exam in Natural Science Subjects has increased, RIA Novosti informs.

She announced this at a meeting with members of the government.

The Deputy Prime Minister noted that 749 thousand 303 people will pass the exam during the main period, of which 661 thousand 997 people are graduates of the current year.

“We are seeing an increase in the popularity of science subjects. If we talk about a comparison with last year, then in 2019 the number of USE participants in biology is growing very seriously — plus 25 thousand, in chemistry — plus 16 thousand, in physics — plus 13 thousand, ”Golikova said.

She added that compared to 2018, the number of people taking the exam in information and communication technologies has seriously increased — by 27 thousand people.
